The 3 most common questions
Can I book breakfast spontaneously?
You can book our lavish breakfast buffet for EUR 15.00 per person at the time of your reservation or at check-in. You can have breakfast with us between 06:30 and 10:00 during the week and on weekends and public holidays from 07:00 to 10:30. You can expect various coffee specialities from the coffee station such as latte macchiato or cappuccino, freshly cut fruit and fresh pasta every day.
What’s the parking situation?
There is a parking lot at the hotel. Depending on availability, you can safely park your car here for a daily rate of €10.00. It is important for you to know that no reservation can be made for this. If all of our parking spaces are occupied, we will of course be happy to help you find an alternative option close to our location.
When is check-in?
Your room will be available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Should you arrive earlier, there are two options:
1. If necessary, we will check on site if we can give you a room before 3:00 p.m. However, this depends on availability at that time and cannot be guaranteed. If a room is available, you can move in immediately for a small fee of €10.00.
2. Early check-in is subject to availability at the hotel and must always be arranged in advance with our reservations desk. For an extra charge of €10.00, you can also book an early check-in in advance.
You are welcome to store your luggage in our storage room free of charge and wait until the regular check-in time, or you can explore the city until then.

Are there discounts for children?
Children stay with us for a fixed price, including breakfast, in their parents’ room.
Children 4 years of age and under – free of charge.
Children 5-9 years of age – €29.00
Children 10-14 years of age – €46.00
Are there non-smoking rooms?
With us, a good room also has a pleasant smell. For that reason, all rooms are non-smoking. In the case of a violation, we will have to charge you the basic cleaning costs of €350 for this reason. But, of course, we provide a smoking corner in the courtyard, which provides a charming break-yard feeling.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Of course, we love animals too. But since we want to be considerate of our guests who might suffer from allergies, we have decided that animals are not allowed to stay at our hotel. Please understand this.
I forgot something at the hotel. What now?
What you don’t have on your mind, we have in our lost and found. So if you forgot something during your last stay, please give us a call. Provide us your name, room number, dates of stay, lost property & phone number and we will get back to you with information as soon as possible.

Can I book by phone?
Reservation center
Our reservation center is staffed from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the hotline +49 3691 / 702000. We are open on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can also book quickly and easily via our homepage.
Where is the best place to book a room at the Hotel am Markt?
No more time-consuming searching! The Hotel am Markt offers you up-to-date prices with a best price guarantee. You can easily get the best available rate at the time of your request for your desired travel period on our homepage. Guaranteed! Please understand that we can provide advantageous rates only on selected days and on a limited basis. Payment for this is made at the time of reservation by credit card or Paypal. Please note that cancellation without charges is possible only up to 30 days before arrival. After this date, we will have to charge you 90% of the price of the overnight stay in case of cancellation. Of course, we know that you can’t always plan for the long term. Therefore, you have the alternative to book your room at our regular, daily rates. Then you can easily cancel free of charge until 6:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Payment for this type of booking is made on the spot upon arrival. Please read the booking terms carefully before choosing your rate. We cannot change the terms and conditions for cancellations, etc., at a later date.
What to do for a group booking?
Are you traveling as a group? For reservations of six rooms or more, please send us an email to gruppe@hotel-eisenach.de or use our contact form. Regardless of the regular occupancy, we only have a certain number of rooms available for groups per day. We will be happy to check this individually to meet your request.
How is data security guaranteed?
Your booking and your data are absolutely safe with us – this applies especially to your credit card information and other personal data. We ensure this via a secure https server. Additionally, all booking information is SSL encrypted and takes place in an appropriate environment.
I need to cancel my booking. What to do?
Please be sure to read the booking terms and conditions before making a reservation. To cancel or make modifications, you can always use the link in the confirmation or feel free to contact us by phone. In the event of a booking via external portals, please cancel directly via the relevant platform.
What is the procedure for assuming costs?
In the case of payment of costs, it is important to note that we can only accept them if a company credit card is provided, from which we may debit the corresponding amount. Invoicing with a subsequent bank transfer is not possible. After your check-out, the specified card will be charged and you will receive the invoice by email in a straightforward manner. We take data protection very seriously. Therefore, we ask for your understanding that for security reasons we cannot store credit card information manually. You can either fill in the form during the online booking process or alternatively, when making a request by phone you can use the corresponding form via a secure link.
What are my payment options?
We ask you to pay attention to the correct billing when making reservations and arrivals. If something does go wrong, a later change can only be made via our accounting department at billing@hotel-eisenach.de.
Payment On Site
Your payment will be made only at CHECK-IN at the reception desk. With us you can pay with cash, EC card, VISA, Mastercard or American Express. However, a debit card cannot be used to guarantee your booking. This requires a credit card. In the case of payment of costs, it is important to note that we can only accept them if a company credit card is provided, from which we may debit the corresponding amount. You can also pay for your room directly online when booking. Then the payment options include credit card – we accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express – and Paypal. Please note the booking and cancellation terms and conditions.

The reception desk at the Hotel am Markt is open daily from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Outside these hours you can reach us conveniently by phone at 03691/702000.
What is the check-in and check-out procedure?

You have until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure to check out.
Is a late check-out available?
You have until 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure to check out. For late risers we offer a late check-out by 2:00 p.m. This should be requested at the time of booking if possible, but at the latest at check-in, and can only be granted subject to availability.

Rooms
How is my room equipped?
Our rooms are equipped with a comfortable bed with cozy luxury bedding, 2 pillows per person, flat screen TV, desk and free Wi-Fi.
We can offer extra, baby or twin beds on request.
How is my bathroom equipped?
Luxury hotel level towels, hair dryer, shower gel & soap await you in our bathrooms.
Are wheelchair accessible rooms offered?
We do not have wheelchair accessible rooms. We will be happy to forward your request to our partner hotel Göbels Sophien Hotel.
Is a minibar available?
Although we do not have a minibar in the rooms, you can get a wide range of drinks and snacks in the lobby lounge.
Can I get food outside restaurant hours?
You can expect a wide range of snacks and drinks in our lobby lounge.
When does the room cleaning take place?
In order for you to enjoy your stay peacefully, the rooms are not cleaned regularly during your stay. You can book this as an option. When you check in, the room is, of course, clean and the final cleaning is also free of charge.
